Osceola’s Annual Week-long Celebration
The Osceola Fall Festival- Dawg Daze is a community event hosted each year during Osceola High School’s Homecoming week. There are numerous activities including a town scavenger hunt, car show, pie and ice cream social, free games for kids, Anna Street Trolley’s Ice Cream Truck, a Prayer on the Square, a community pep rally and Floats after Floats following the homecoming parade.

Osceola Community Action Group host the Osceola Farmers Market on Wednesday night from 5-7 PM downtown. The markets typically start the 3rd week in July and run for 6 weeks. Each week has a theme and lots to offer for attendees of all ages.
Week 1 - Kick off to Summer
Week 2 - Fair Daze
Week 3 - Ladies Night
Week 4 - Heroes Night
Week 5 - Back to School
Week 6 - Pedals & Pie
There is also a Fall Farmers Market the week of Dawg Daze.

Only tree branches and limbs, leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste are permitted in appropriate piles. The Osceola City Tree Site is located a ½ mile east of Osceola on 130th Road and Central Street.

The City of Osceola has a truck ordinance prohibiting the parking of semis in residential areas. Trucks should be parked in the city provided truck parking lot located on N. Nance Street east of Frontier Coop elevators and bins and south of the Fire Hall.
The city provides the electricity for plugging the semis in.
