Utility Due Date

Utility Billing Information

Water, sewer, and compactor services are covered by your city utility bill. Postcard bills are mailed on the last business day of each month and payment is due on the 15th of the following month. Accounts not paid by the due date will be charged a 10% penalty on the 16th. Accounts not paid by the last day of the month will be disconnected.

Payment Options

Cash or Check

Cash, check, money order/cashier's check are accepted via mail, in person, or via the drop box located to the left of the front door of the City Office.

 

ACH Payments

You may also enroll in ACH payments by filling out an authorization form and attaching a voided check at the City Office. If interest in ACH, please contact the City office for the ACH form.

 

Credit Card Payment

The City of Osceola has signed an agreement with Certified Payments, an online payment company, to accept credit card payments for utility bills. Certified Payments has agreed to accept your payment (Visa, MasterCard or Discover) and will charge you a convenience fee of of 4% of your payment to provide this service to you. The fee will be on your credit card statement. If you make your payment by the due date (15th of the month) you will avoid the 10% late fee charged by the City on all past due accounts.

To make a credit card payment:

 

Simply go to www.certifiedpayments.net and enter the City of Osceola's Bureau Code (7444495). You will need to know the amount of your bill and your city account number. The website will not have this information. Follow the online instructions, and within minutes you will have paid your city bill!

 

*If you do not have access to the internet, you can call 1 (866) 549-1010. You will be charged the same fees. You will also need to know the City's Bureau Code, the amount of your bill, and account number.

Prohibited Items: Car Batteries, Yard Waste, Tires, Hazardous Waste, Flammables, No appliances with Freon, and No Free Liquid.

*Additional Charge for appliance/furniture disposal (Minimum Charge $10)

Located 1/2 mile east of town on 130th Road/Central Street. Just east of the Compactor on south side of the road.

 

Open approximately March 1st - November 30th

Saturday: 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Noon)

Only tree branches and limbs, leaves, grass clippings, and garden waste are permitted in appropriate piles. 

No lumber, trash, or plastic bags.
